Our dedicated Christian staff are passionate, dedicated, and deeply committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of every child. Each member of our teaching team brings a wealth of experience, a love for Christ, and a genuine joy for helping students grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Through a Christ-centered approach and a warm, supportive classroom environment, our teachers strive to inspire a lifelong love of learning and a strong foundation of faith. All of our staff members undergo thorough background screenings, including FBI Livescan fingerprinting, in full compliance with Broward County Child Care Licensing and Enforcement, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), and the Florida Department of Education, to ensure a safe and secure environment for every child
With over 25 years of experience as a Preschool Director, Evan brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and heart to NCCA. He holds both his FCCPC and Director Credential and has spent his career leading family-owned preschools with a strong commitment to faith and education.
Evan’s favorite part of serving in early childhood education is watching children learn and grow, and he deeply values the opportunity at NCCA to serve the Lord and see Christ be taught every day. A verse that inspires him is Micah 7:7:
“Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.”
Outside of school, you can often find Evan working on cars and anything mechanical or cheering at his daughter’s travel soccer games and events.
Mimi brings creativity, passion, and joy to our Pre-K4 classroom. She holds a BFA from the University of Central Florida and has spent many years serving in children’s ministries as a Jr. Church Preschool Teacher, AWANA Leader, Children’s Choir Director, and VBS Music Director.
Inspired by her mother, who was also an early childhood teacher, she has a heart for helping young learners thrive. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the joy and excitement on children’s faces when they finally grasp a new concept.
At NCCA, she loves the shared Christian values among the staff and the positive, faith-filled environment it creates. A verse that guides her is Job 42:2:
“I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.”
Outside the classroom, she enjoys making wild and crazy earrings, and a fun fact about her is that she once performed internationally and on cruise ships as an entertainer!
Brynn teaches in our 3-year-old class and is in her second year at NCCA. She holds an Office Systems Degree from Pensacola Christian College, along with her Florida Child Care Professional Credential and Education Program Director’s Credential.
Brynn has always had a love for children, and when the Lord opened the door for her to begin teaching preschool, she joyfully stepped into her calling. Her favorite part of teaching is the chance to invest in children at such an important age, when she can see the impact taking shape in their lives. She also values the opportunity to partner with and encourage families.
What she loves most about NCCA is the ability to teach children from a biblical perspective, knowing that for some, it may be the only glimpse of Jesus they ever see. A verse that encourages her is 1 Thessalonians 5:24:
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
Originally from North Carolina, she enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing, as well as baking, spending time with her husband, and going on walks.
Grace is one of the friendly faces you’ll see helping in our 3-year-old and 4-year-old classrooms. Though she’s a new teacher, she brings warmth, dedication, and a genuine love for children. She’s also currently pursuing a degree in nursing, balancing both her education and her passion for working with kids.
Just a few months after NCCA opened, God opened the door for her to join the team. As the school grew, she was eager to step in and lend a helping hand. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know the children’s unique personalities. She loves discovering their creativity, humor, and individuality while building meaningful relationships with each child.
What she treasures most about NCCA is the family dynamic and the shared values among the staff. She is proud to be part of a school that strives to raise up godly children in a Christ-centered environment. A verse that inspires her is Proverbs 3:5-6:
Outside of the classroom, you’ll find her cooking, baking, and playing pickleball with friends. She’s big on homemade recipes and DIY projects. A fun fact about Grace is that she recently got married!
